Parisa Homayoun

The question that guided my sustained investigation was, how are people affected by the new immigration laws? I wanted to investigate the immigration crisis in the US because my parents are both immigrants from Iran and if the current state of the US existed back then they would not have been able to arrive in the US. My sustained investigation shows evidence of practice because of the multiple drafts I create for my ideas before finalizing into the final product. I have experimentation through my different projects finding out which ideas work better together and which ones do not. And I have revision because if I create a piece and I’m not satisfied with it, I can revise it for a next project and make it better. My investigation has developed throughout the year from focusing on immigration to exploring the differences between cultures and the connections we all share.
