Fear is a large part of our lives and can control our thoughts and actions. A few of my main questions in my sustained investigation were what the fears of my peers were and if i could represent such a grim topic as a visually appealing work of art. Throughout my projects, I have experimented with different facial expressions as well as a range of canvasses and materials. My sustained investigation has allowed me to grow my artistic abilities because I have revised most of my pieces based off of critiques I have received. My sustained investigation has provided me the option to practice and experiment with many materials so I can use the best canvas possible for each of my works. My sustained investigation questions have encouraged me to think outside the box and this has pushed me to develop into a much more advanced artist than I was at the beginning of this year.
